YMCA Macleod Child Care offers crèche and occasional care on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for children aged 6 weeks to 9.

Our program strives to develop educational learning experiences that caters to all children’s special and individual needs. We foster and enhance developmental assets, such as fine and gross motor, language and social skills, by providing challenging, interesting age appropriate and culturally diverse activities. We offer activities include art/ craft, story reading, songs, music and movement. An enrolment form must be completed prior to your first visit as your child’s safety is our number 1 priority.

As of 1st January 2016, new government legislation has come into place – ‘No Jab No Play’. All children need to have proof of up to date immunisation. Before attending childcare this year you will need to complete a new enrolment form, a copy of the child’s birth certificate (can be transferred from last year’s enrolment form), and ensure we have up to date for age proof of immunisation. An Immunisation History Statement is available from the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register. These can be requested at any time by contacting Medicare or visiting the Medicare website.

Please note that homeopathic immunisations are not acceptable.

Overseas immunisations need to be verified by a local GP or immunisation nurse.

It is very important to notify us of any changes throughout the year to ensure the correct information is on your child’s enrolment form. Our educators will do everything we can to assist new children, and ensure their transition into childcare is as smooth as possible.
